Role: Location Manager, Craft Services
What I did: Managed locations, contracts, planned and led tech recces, acted as main point of contact for the production with location owners, was first/last on set and ensured locations were physically secure, planned location logistics, maps, parking, and police permitting.
I also shopped and provided craft services, preparing light meals, coffee, and setting up/breaking down food and snacks tables and equipment. I oversaw a team of 3-4 support staff to provide for 25-30 people per day.

What I did: I was the Producer for a commercial and social media campaign for the Icelandic Fisheries Association (SFS) shot in Oslo, Norway. I managed parts of the service production budget and was responsible for casting and booking high-profile Norwegian talent Jon Øigarden and Oddgeir Thune, as well as a screenwriter, all on very short notice. I handled the negotiation and finalization of the actors’ contracts, and managed communications and meetings including table reads between talent, agents, and (end) clients. I also facilitated communication and creative development of the script between the talent, writer, and client. On the ground in Oslo, I also sourced and handled props and set design.

What I did: I have directed seven episodes in Sweden - Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, and Örebro, and I was the local fixer for two episodes in Stockholm and Älmhult securing locations, releases, booking crew and equipment, transportation.

What I did: Grevlingene, or “The Badgers” in English, is a Norwegian family feature, shot in Rogaland, Norway over 2 months and had 40 crew/cast. As Production Manager, I oversaw all of the production, support, and location logistics. I created a production database to manage crew, and plan all travel, communication, set logistics, crew management, oversaw the production office, prepared location maps, finalized and distributed call sheets, planned crew events. Managed Extras database and extras management with over 200 extras.

What I did: This was a 12 day shoot for a scripted TV drama in and around Stockholm, and I, along with one producer, managed the service production supporting 50+ crew: hiring location managers, catering/craft, art dept, vehicles, equipment, vintage cars, boats, location permits including blocking streets, transportation, production offices, managing releases and payments for over 100 extras, and budget tracking for multiple departments.

What I did: I worked with non-profit organizations to develop a summer camp style filmmaking lab for high school students where they learned to develop, shoot, and edit their own documentaries inspiring social change. I was honored to produce film labs in Newark, New Jersey and Wind River, Wyoming. We even got to bring the students from Wind River Reservation ito Los Angeles to screen their films at the LA Native American Film Festival at the Chinese Theatre.

I scouted and secured locations, booked crew, equipment and transportation, and managed the service production budget. I managed and navigated a recce on the day of the Stockholm Marathon where a large number of roads were closed off at different times.

For a crew of 18 I secured transportation, logistics, lodging and catering/crafty in a remote location.

What I did: I was the local Fixer for an employer branding video highlighting PUMA’s Stockholm location. I managed the production service budget and scouted, suggested and secured locations. I provided a schedule to make sure all locations could be filmed in a short time frame and coordinated with the locations. Speaking German, English and Swedish I ensured a smooth communication between the German crew and the Swedish contributors.

What I did: I was the local Fixer for two interviews with climate activist Greta Thunberg. The first one was conducted in person by talk show host Sandra Maischberger who traveled to Stockholm while completely avoiding air travel. The second one was conducted remotely via Skype for Titel Thesen Temperamente. I booked local crew, equipment and (eco-friendly) transportation and managed the budgets. I coordinated both recce and shoots. On the shoot day I coordinated with the two clients and managed the crew, ensuring both interviews could happen within the tight schedule. I provided creative input and managed the b-roll shoot that we also filmed on the same day.
